The National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists (NAMTPT), has provided a tool that allows you to check your symptoms to see where your myofascial pain may be originating from. Click on the blue box below to go to the Symptom Checker.
How do you use the symptom checker? To use Symptom Checker simply move your cursor over the body figurine and click on the area where you feel pain. A new window will then open and allow you to choose which pain pattern looks the most like the pain you are experiencing. You may then click on that picture and review information pertaining to that specific muscle. (NAMTPT website)
